WVU winter commencement ceremonies set for Saturday at Coliseum

WVU is set to graduate more than 2,600 seniors who are finishing classes this month.
Two commencement ceremonies will conclude finals week, which is going on now.
Both events are Saturday at the Coliseum. The first is at 10 a.m., the second at 2 p.m.
Graduates of the John Chambers College of Business and Economics and Eberly College of Arts and Sciences will turn their tassels at the afternoon ceremonty, while students from all other schools and colleges will graduate at 10 a.m., according to a press release from WVU.
WVU President Gordon Gee will deliver welcome remarks during the morning ceremony. Dr. Judie Charlton, chief medical officer and professor in the School of Medicine, will present the keynote address.
Jack Furst, a distinguished private equity investor and adjunct professor at The University of North Texas, will be awarded a presidential honorary degree during the 2 p.m. ceremony. Furst will deliver that keynote address. He is a Distinguished Eagle Scout and an executive board member and officer of Boy Scouts of America, National Council.
Gee will welcome graduates and guests, and present a second presidential honorary degree to Donald Hoylman, founder of Industrial Resources Inc., of Fairmont.
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Joyce McConnell will present the degree candidates at the morning and afternoon ceremonies.
