Prep football previews: Morgantown, University, Clay-Battelle in playoff hunt

Buckhannon-Upshur at University, 7:30 p.m.
It’s been a big week for senior Logan Holgorsen.
The UHS quarterback was selected Wednesday for the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl, and looks to return tonight from a high-ankle sprain to lead the Hawks into their Homecoming. After dropping their fourth loss of the season to Mountain Ridge (Md.) in his absence and endangering their playoff hopes, his return will be welcomed with open arms.
A win against the visiting Buccaneers would bolster the team’s playoff resume, earning an additional 13 points in the rankings. B-U enters on a three-game losing streak after opening the season 2-1.
