Prep roundup: MHS, UHS golf teams have top-5 finishes at OVAC tournament

WHEELING — The Morgantown High and University golf teams finished fourth and fifth, respectively, at the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference tournament Thursday at Oglebay in Wheeling.
The Mohigans shot 364 as a team, led by an 85 by Carter Kline. The rest of the team included Andy Seman (102), Jack Wiedebusch (87), Jack Hudson (90) and Carter Patrick (106).
The Hawks were right behind MHS with a 366, led by an 86 by Jack Giobbia. The rest of the team included Jackson Harper (89), Levi Watson (96), Sam Zeni (95) and Adam Fox (100).
Brooke’s Ryan Bilby was the medalist, with a 73, while Wheeling Park took the team title, with a 330.
