Prep roundup: 9-5-18 – Trinity, Clay-Battelle volleyball teams snag wins

CLARKSBURG — The Trinity volleyball team swept Notre Dame and Tygarts Valley on Wednesday night.
Against Tygarts Valley, the Warriors won, 2-0 (25-16, 25-15), and against Notre Dame, they won 2-1 (20-25, 25-12, 25-12).
Morgan Mullens had seven aces for Trinity, while Caitlyn Nine had five. Mullens had 17 assists to lead the team, while Paige Dixon had 12. Rachel Rosen had 15 blocks and Kate Dlugos added 10. Reagan Sharp had nine kills, while Rosen had eight. Jaclyn Smith had 16 digs and Dixon added 15.
Trinity (6-1) will host Cameron at 6 p.m. today.
