Council to review PUD ordinance before voting on second reading

WESTOVER — Westover City councilmembers will look over the Planned Unit Development district ordinance before voting on its second reading.
Johnson said councilmembers had not received copies of the ordinance in time for the most recent meeting, and he wants them to read through it before voting again.
Council previously approved the first reading of an ordinance establishing the Planned Unit Development district, which was recommended by the city planning commission.
Johnson said previously that there are areas of Westover that would benefit from being designated as such and developed.
He said the area of particular interest now is at the end of Riverview, where Grant Street starts and turns and comes back up toward Fairmor Drive.
