Fireworks rules
The Town of Masontown reminds residents of the limits on the use of fireworks in town.
Fireworks will be permitted until 10 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week. On the Fourth, they can be used until midnight.
Anyone who violates these rules can be fined $50 for the first offense, $75 for the second offense and $100 for subsequent offenses.
Kids theater
The Aurora Project is planning a theater workshop with Colleen Spear for kids ages 7-12 from
9 a.m.-noon Aug. 11, at the Aurora General Store, 23976 George Washington Highway, Aurora.
